The Luthier’s Workshop
“I have the good fortune to spend my days in a spacious workshop in rural northern France. It is fully equipped to enable me to build guitars from raw materials right through to the finished instrument. Crucially, I had room to install a spraybooth - a flawless finish is essential for a high-end custom-built guitar, and I take great pride in doing my own finish work as opposed to subcontracting such an important part of the process.”

The relative humidity in the main work area is maintained at a constant level suitable for guitar building, and all wood is stored until it has reached equilibrium with the environment before being used.
